When I retired I looked around to see how I could help local farmers as they battled with the ups and downs of farming and running their family businesses. As a volunteer with Shropshire Rural Support, I feel I can really help farmers who need someone to talk to who understands their situation. I find it rewarding to give a bit back to a way of life that has served me well and I love.
